Registered Nurse, Behavioral Health (OVERNIGHT SHIFT)

Duties include but are not limited to the following:

  • Patient Care
  • Medication Management
  • Administer Medications (PO, IM, Subcutaneous, Transdermal)
  • Administer Injections when ordered
  • Supervise self administration of medications
  • Medication Management
  • Completes and charts vitals
  • Coordinates communication with NP and Facility
  • Check PPD Results and facilitate further action when necessary
  • Obtain verbal orders from NP when required
  • Works in conjunction with NP for client physicals, weekly assessments, and follow ups
  • Document all client assessments (nursing notes, progress notes, patient education, vitals, drug screens)
  • Knowledge of how to document in EMR System
  • In Service/train staff on medication education, vitals and what to do in an emergency situation
  • Any other job duties

Qualifications for Position

  • College Degree in Nursing
  • At least 2 years experience in an equivalent position
  • Must present good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Must have knowledge in 12 Step Recovery and Addicts
  • Must have knowledge of behavioral health and substance abuse conditions
  • Must have or be eligible to attain Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Must be a Licensed Registered Nurse

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $35.00 per hour
