Duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Patient Care
- Medication Management
- Administer Medications (PO, IM, Subcutaneous, Transdermal)
- Administer Injections when ordered
- Supervise self administration of medications
- Medication Management
- Completes and charts vitals
- Coordinates communication with NP and Facility
- Check PPD Results and facilitate further action when necessary
- Obtain verbal orders from NP when required
- Works in conjunction with NP for client physicals, weekly assessments, and follow ups
- Document all client assessments (nursing notes, progress notes, patient education, vitals, drug screens)
- Knowledge of how to document in EMR System
- In Service/train staff on medication education, vitals and what to do in an emergency situation
- Any other job duties
Qualifications for Position
- College Degree in Nursing
- At least 2 years experience in an equivalent position
- Must present good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Must have knowledge in 12 Step Recovery and Addicts
- Must have knowledge of behavioral health and substance abuse conditions
- Must have or be eligible to attain Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Must be a Licensed Registered Nurse
