Our Evidence-based approach
As humans, we are more than just the body. When we stop using drugs, there’s still more work to do. At Cornerstone, we strongly believe that healing the whole person is the only approach that works. We combine traditional methods of treating addiction along with innovative approaches. This means that in our programs, you will have the opportunity to participate in activities that help the mind, body, and spirit. This includes but is not limited to yoga, meditation, mindfulness practices, art therapy, and music therapy.
We understand that addiction impacts more than just the person addicted. It is well known that everyone around a person who is struggling with substance abuse is affected. We have designed programs like Common Ground and Family Therapy sessions to encourage family involvement in the recovery process. Engaging family members throughout the recovery journey is crucial in creating a solid support network, which increases the chances of maintaining sobriety in the long run. Our inclusive approach helps families repair relationships, rebuild trust, and navigate recovery challenges together.
