FAQs About Mental Health

Get answers to the most commonly asked questions about mental health programs.

Where is your treatment center located?

Our recovery center is located in Scottsdale, but our residential treatment center is located in North Scottsdale near Old Town, and Scottsdale Heights. Both locations are easily accessible off of the loop 101.

Please note, we do not publish the location of our residential treatment center for the safety of our clients.

Do you treat dual-diagnosis?

Yes, we treat dual-diagnosis at our residential treatment center, including co-occuring mental health and substance use disorders. We understand that many individuals who struggle with substance abuse issues like drug or alcohol addiction also live with persistent mental health conditions like anxiety, trauma, or depression. Our dual-diagnosis program provides integrated treatment that addresses both mental health issues and addiction in tandem. We have experience treating individuals across the spectrum of substance use disorders as well as range of mental health diagnoses. Our dually licensed therapists and addiction counselors work as an integrated team to create customized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client. Our whole-person, holistic approach aims to uncover and resolve the underlying issues that contribute to both conditions. Utilizing clinically-proven modalities like cognitive behavioral therapy, group talk therapy, wellness activities, and medication support, we equip clients with effective coping mechanisms and expose them to a full continuum of care. Our goal is help our dually diagnosed clients achieve sustained healing, long-term recovery, and improved quality of life through our comprehensive dual diagnosis treatment program. Please reach out for more details on how we successfully help clients manage co-occurring disorders.

What health insurances do you accept?

We accept most major health insurance plans at our residential treatment center and are continually working to participate with more providers to increase accessibility to care. Some of the plans we currently accept include Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna, Humana, United Healthcare, and several others. We also accept TRICARE and some Medicaid/AHCCCS plans. Additionally, we work closely with many out-of-network policies to help patients who wish to use their out-of-network benefits. Making effective mental health and addiction treatment accessible and affordable to all who need it is extremely important to us. Even if someone is uninsured, we have patient advocates on staff who will work hard on finding available options and developing customized payment arrangements. If we can’t help you, we will always give you resources to treatment centers that can. We believe cost and insurance coverage should never get in the way of receiving necessary care. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to go over your specific insurance coverage or financial situation. You can begin the process by visiting our insurance verification page. Our team is always readily available to verify your benefits and discuss the range of solutions we offer to help make residential behavioral health treatment possible.
