Are you ready to Start Your New Life?

Cornerstone offers long-term addiction treatment for men and women. It's taken in three phases: Immersion, IOP & Aftercare

IMMERSIVE RECOVERY EXPERIENCE

Our immersion program for men and women builds the foundation for long-term, durable recovery from addiction and co-occurring disorders. By living in treatment with us for approximately two months we have enough space and time to heal the body, retrain the mind and ignite the spirit.

EMDR

For clients who have experienced trauma, Cornerstone Healing Center provides Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy, also known as EMDR. EMDR is often used for treating post-traumatic stress disorder and can be effective in treating those with addiction and/or a history of trauma. CLICK HERE TO LEARN MORE

MEDITATION

As part of the mind-body-spirit approach for drug and alcohol rehabilitation at Cornerstone Healing Center, we provide our clients with meditation therapy. Our meditation therapy approach is mindfulness based stress reduction (MBSR), which teaches clients awareness of how subconscious thoughts and behaviors affect overall health. The American Psychological Association reports MBSR is effective in helping those who practice it to reduce stress and anxiety, that makes it an effective treatment for those struggling with addiction.

YOGA

Yoga is an integral part of the Cornerstone Healing Center addiction recovery model. Numerous studies have shown the benefits of yoga for a stronger mind-body connection. A recent review of the positive benefits of yoga for drug and alcohol addicts shows: Yoga can reduce depression, anxiety and emotional suffering. By forcing the mind and body to work together holistically, yoga practices can help alcoholics and addicts maintain sobriety. Yoga reduces stress by improving respiratory systems, lowering blood pressure and decreasing heart rate. These effects are also useful in the recovery process. Regular yoga practice can reduce the effects of physical pain variables and decrease emotional suffering. Consistent yoga practice can reduce cravings associated with addiction. For these reasons and many more, we provide members in all our rehab programs with the opportunity to develop a safe, therapeutic and satisfying yoga practice. This skill can be instrumental in addiction recovery and lead to a happier life overall.

NUTRITION

The cycle of addiction is directly related to nutritional habits. Drug and alcohol substance abuse can lead to a lack of proper nutrition. A lack of proper nutrition can fuel relapse behavior. Conversely, good nutritional habits are instrumental in addiction treatment and long-term recovery. At Cornerstone Healing Center’s Scottsdale treatment facility, we provide nutrition therapy. Clients learn how to make healthy nutritional choices that will aid them in overcoming addiction. A nutrition professional guides clients through how to create weekly menus with healthy meals.

12 STEP COMMUNITY

The 12 Step program is a series of steps that was created by Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) more than 80 years ago. This program was designed to help those suffering from alcoholism overcome their addiction. Since then, 12 Step programs have been adapted to help those suffering from a multitude of drug and alcohol addictions. They are found in programs such as Cocaine Anonymous (CA), Crystal Meth Anonymous (CMA), Heroin Anonymous (HA), and Marijuana Anonymous (MA). At Cornerstone Healing Center, we connect all our clients with a supportive 12 Step community. Clients at our Scottsdale treatment facilities participate in daily 12 Step meetings. By sharing personal experiences with peers, and by hearing the personal stories of others, 12 Step participants get the support they need to find new and deeper connections with themselves, spirituality, and the world around them while becoming part of a life-changing community.
