About Our Women’s Residential Treatment

Our Arizona residential treatment center works hard to lead women through addiction with even greater sensitivity to the specific stresses, emotional strains, and traumas that are unique to women.

At Cornerstone, the women connect, heal and grow through evidence-based therapies combined with trauma-informed care, right down to other holistic practices in yoga and nutrition. Each woman receives a personalized treatment plan that supports her physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. Our goal is to help women find lasting recovery and growth with compassionate support at every step.

Unique Needs of Women in Residential Treatment

Women often face stigma around substance use, which can make it challenging to seek help. Our women’s residential treatment center provides a compassionate and judgment-free space designed to support healing.

Many women in recovery have experienced trauma, such as abuse or domestic violence. Using a trauma-informed approach, we create a safe environment that addresses these experiences with empathy and care.

We also offer integrated treatment for co-occurring mental health issues, along with peer support and group therapy, fostering community and connection. Our goal is to empower women, helping them build confidence and a foundation for lasting recovery.

Does residential drug rehab work?

Residential drug rehab is a fundamental aspect of drug and alcohol treatment and is highly effective for individuals struggling with addiction.

According to findings in the Journal of Substance Abuse Treatment, over 60% of individuals who engage in residential treatment for substance abuse and complete an inpatient drug and alcohol program report achieving and maintaining sobriety for one year or more.

This Journal of Substance Abuse Treatment also highlights the importance of choosing a dedicated alcohol and drug rehab program that offers a supportive and structured environment essential for overcoming addiction and fostering a sustainable recovery journey.

That depends on your needs. Our women’s residential treatment program for substance abuse is tailored to address the specific needs of each individual, taking into account the nature, severity, and history of their addiction. If you want to learn more, please reach out!

Residential treatment and inpatient treatment both offer care for mental health or addiction issues, but they differ in setting and intensity.

Residential treatment occurs in a home-like environment and is suited for longer stays, focusing on therapy and community support. It also offers a more relaxed atmosphere for extended support, inpatient treatment involves close medical monitoring and is designed for quick and intense intervention.

Inpatient treatment, on the other hand, is provided in a more clinical, hospital-like setting for short-term, intensive care to stabilize acute conditions.
