The Registered Nurse is a licensed nurse who is responsible for managing health problems and coordinating health care for clients in accordance with State and Federal rules and regulations and the nursing standards of care (assessment of health status, diagnosis, development of plan of care and treatment, implementation of treatment plan, and evaluation of patient status). Medical clinical management is conducted in collaboration with other health care team members.

Job Duties & Description

  • Emphasize preventative care and disease management
  • Responsible for the safe Administration of Medication
  • Provide education for staff on current healthcare-related infection risks within the agency.
  • Educate staff on appropriate Urinalysis specimen collection techniques.
  • Verify completeness of Urinalysis paperwork completed by Techs.
  • Interpret Urinalysis Screening results.
  • Responsible for Vitals, rounds, and assessment.
  • Serve as a consultant to staff in reference to physical health questions or concerns that arise within the agency.
  • Complete intake health screenings and pain assessments as directed.
  • Provide follow-up reports on Urinalysis Screening for their client medical records
  • Respond to all duties in a clinically appropriate and timely manner.
  • Carry out other tasks as requested or ordered by the Medical Director.

Qualifications for Position

  • College Degree in Nursing
  • 2 years of experience in an equivalent position
  • Open to new graduates
  • Must present good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Must have knowledge in 12 Step Recovery and Addiction
  • Must have knowledge of behavioral health and substance abuse conditions
  • Must have or be eligible to attain Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Must be a Licensed Registered Nurse

Pay & Benefits

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $40.00 per hour
