Karen Williams, LPC

Former Clinical Director

Karen Williams is licensed by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners as an LPC. She is the former Clinical Director of our Scottsdale, Arizona facilities. Her passion in therapy is Family Systems and healing codependency, and she specializes in treating all addictions.

Karen is fully trained in EMDR Therapy and provides ongoing clinical supervision to her staff and those seeking full licensure. Before her vocation in the behavioral health industry, Karen developed her business as a consultant for clients seeking customer satisfaction metric solutions.

In 2007, Karen helped develop Mantle of Hope – a wellness group for men and women seeking wholeness and healing from grief associated with losing a child. Karen authored and developed the Common Ground Family Day Program. In place for four years, Common Ground seeks to unite families who have been estranged by addiction and place them on the “common ground” of tolerance, understanding, and love.

Karen holds a master’s degree in professional counseling from Grand Canyon University (2014) and earned her undergraduate degree from Michigan State University in 1988. Karen’s other interests include spending time with her adult sons, motorcycling, reading, hiking, running, writing, and continuing to counsel voluntarily for Rachel’s Vineyard Retreats. Rumor has it that a book in the works will be released in early 2023.
